A look back on that time in March 2020, when the world was ending.

I was one of the first to be furloughed on my team. The pandemic struck, we shifted to a semi-remote schedule and, within a few weeks, I was laid off due to COVID-19. Amidst applying for unemployment and navigating grocery shortages and face coverings; I started documenting my surroundings.

Records of isolation and studio-bound life, made loads more palpable by my neighbor Matt. We, plus his dog Wiz and my cat Kitty, lived on the makeshift top floor of a brownstone-turned Air BNB-turned 4-tenant apartment complex.
