Whether in times of overthinking, quarantine+furlough life, and other periods, I’ve found podcasts to be a most beloved soundtrack to my life, on long trips in the car, airplane rides… Given, what’s one of my favorite traits about myself, an insatiable curiosity, I’ve found a vast appeal in the types of storytelling I’ve come across via podcast. From pieces of investigative journalism directing historic/current events to series after series falling under my most favorite true crime genre; maybe it’s the plethora of non-fiction available, maybe it’s the audio-aspect. Whatever it is, I love podcasts, and I don’t foresee any end in sight to my since-sophomore-year-of-college love affair with these phonic modes of media.
