This was the first real-life meets digital doodles ‘collage’ I feel I tried. I love it. I had always wanted to add doodles over photos and scans and things I saw, when I was younger.

Stealing this from my IG caption: This is a special art that combines a lot of things with meaning to me. First, collage has always been something - especially kid me - has been into. Second, I don’t own a scanner - but the new scan apps for iPad allow for a pretty darn good scan experience. So, I was able to scan things (like I used to as a kid, in the big scanner at Christi’s machine shop where I hung out). THEN, I layered some floral doodles on top using Procreate (the digital - IRL combo is something else kid me would be floored at…always wanted to do that in the early 00s 😂).
